FOR RELEASE JANUARY 6, 2004 AssetEye Announces the Release of the First .NET Compliant Version of its Award-Winning Portfolio Manager NEW YORK, January 6, 2004 – AssetEye Inc., a leading provider of portfolio management tools for commercial real estate, today announced the release of the first .NET-compliant version of its Portfolio Manager solution. Microsoft’s .NET is a new generation of technology based on Web services—small building-block applications that can connect to each other as well as to other, larger applications over the Internet. “What .NET brings to the table for us is a full-featured platform for building robust, secure, real software applications that run over the web,” said Greg Sherman, president of AssetEye Inc. “The original ASP model had shortcomings that we had to overcome with our product designs,” Sherman continued, “but this new generation is quite well thought out. For our customers, it means notably improved performance, more powerful features, and better connectivity with existing infrastructure.” AssetEye.NET is available in a licensed version (installed on the customer’s hardware), and ASP-hosted (managed by AssetEye).
